As a carer you can ask for an assessment of your role. You can do this even if the person you care for does not want any services. To decide how we can offer support we meet with you, talk about how caring affects your day-to-life and find out the care you need. This is an emergency scheme offering peace of mind to carers. Many carers worry about what would happen to the person they care for if they were unwell or had an accident preventing them from providing care and support.
