We can advise on equipment to help with daily living including:
This service collects, stores, loans, delivers, recycles and sells vital enabling equipment to help you live safely and independently at home. It provides equipment for people receiving health and social care services, as well as for people looking for their own solutions to day-to-day living difficulties. Equipment may be prescribed free of charge by a district nurse, occupational therapist or physiotherapist after your needs are assessed. There is also an 'Enable Me' shop and demonstration area offering advice and ideas if you are looking to buy your own aids. The outlet includes an online self-assessment questionnaire, NRS Ask Sara, |to help you find equipment to suit you. Products supplied range from kitchen and bathing equipment, through to walking aids and complex items such as hoists and pressure care mattresses.
Equip for Living is based at 498 Wallisdown Road, Bournemouth BH11 8PT. The 'Enable Me' shop is open Monday-Friday 9:00 am-7:00pm. Saturday 9:00am-1:00pm.
