Changes from 25 May 2014|
The ‘Getting About Ticket’ is a one day ticket valid for unlimited travel on the day of purchase for most buses within Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch. The ticket is accepted on the following bus operators:- Wilts and Dorset-including More Buses, RATP Yellow Buses, Bournemouth Airport Shuttle, Damory, Dolphin Coaches, Gardbus, First and Shaftesbury and District. The ticket is bought from the driver of the first bus you use and then valid for the rest of that day when shown on boarding other buses. The ticket is not valid on ‘night bus’ services. The ticket can only be used for travel within Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch. The ticket cannot be used for travel outside of this area. So it is not valid for travel to Ringwood, Wimborne, Ferndown, Salisbury or Swanage. The exact area of validity is shown on the local ‘Area Bus Map’ available from the Information Office at Bournemouth Rail and Coach Station – underneath Asda.
