Persian Ironwood  -  Parrotia persica

This tree produces spectacular autumn colours, and each tree can be completely different. The leaves go from yellow through orange and red to a lovely pink colour. The Central and Upper Gardens are a great place to see these fascinating trees, which originate from Iran and Persia.
