Pin Oak  -  Quercus palustris

The attractive Pin Oak is one of the many American species of oak and, as you would expect, it has fine autumn colours. It is a popular tree in ornamental settings, and can be found in several places in Bournemouth. This one was taken at Littledown Open Space, and shows the leaves looking very variegated.
