Green Space Strategy

The Green Space Strategy outlines Bournemouth's plans for green spaces between 2007- 2011.

It covers  most public outdoor spaces, such as parks, gardens, play areas, sports pitches, allotments, amenity space and countryside.

Throughout 2008/9 it will be extended with detailed strategies to cover:

  • Built Sports Facilities
  • Playing Fields, play areas
  • Accessible Natural Green Space
  • Allotments

All these plans will form part of the emerging Local Development Framework for Bournemouth
