The STOUR VALLEY FESTIVAL returns on the weekend of the 13th and 14th of September, and promises to be bigger and better than ever.
LOCATION of EVENT: Stour Valley Local Nature Reserve, adjacent to Cherry Tree Nursery, off New Road Roundabout, BH10 7DA
DATES and TIMES:
Friday 12th September - Barn Dance 7pm to 11pm
Saturday 13th September - 10am to 11pm
Sunday 14th September - 10am to 5pm
DESCRIPTION OF EVENT
The Stour Valley Festival is a two-day celebration of rural crafts, produce and attractions set, in the beautiful surroundings of Stour Valley Local Nature Reserve. Attractions will include sheep shearing, family goat show, village farm and pole lathing demonstrations.
There will be a range of exhibits from stick makers to beekeepers, and lots of information and children's activities presented by local conservation organisations.
Live music will be played from 1.30pm to 11.00pm on the Saturday and 12.30pm to 5pm on the Sunday, including Lady Winwood's Maggot! Bar and food available on site. Entry is FREE, car parking £3. There is a Barn Dance with the Black Sheep Band and a caller on Friday night. Tickets are £10, including food, and are available from Cherry Tree Nursery.
