Beach huts are great for relaxing with friends and family and offer inspirational coastal views. Bournemouth actually invented the modern beach hut 100 years ago and boasts the oldest beach huts in the country, they remain hugely popular today.
Over 250 traditional beach huts are available to hire from as little as £31 per week or £8 per day outside of the summer holidays. They are located across the seafront from Alum Chine to Southbourne. All beach huts come equipped with four chairs, a gas ring and curtains. Access ramps are available from beach offices for wheelchair users.

You can also book selected huts online at www.bournemouth.co.uk via the ABC booking service. Most major debit/credit cards accepted. Please note that single day bookings can only be made from the Saturday of the week of hire.

A central feature of the innovative £11 million Boscombe regenation scheme, and with stunning views across Europe’s first artificial surf reef, the ‘beach pods’ at Boscombe Overstrand are an iconic new landmark for Bournemouth and an unprerecendented opportunity to invest in a unique leisure lifestyle. Beach Hut Bookings 2010
The beach hut and beach pod booking lines for 2010 commence on Wednesday 27th January until Friday 29th January. Lines will be open 10am – 8pm. If you are not booking for July and August please telephone from Monday 4th February, when lines will be open 10am – 4pm.
To book a hut call 0845 055 0968 (local rate call), all major credit/debit cards accepted.
Unfortunately, no bookings or reservations can be taken before the 27th January 2010.
