On the beach

For your convenience there are toilets situated all along the promenade between Alum Chine and Southbourne, and if your feeling peckish or just fancy an ice cream why not visit one of our many catering outlets?
To make your visit to the beach more comfortable deckchairs, sunbeds, parasols and windbreaks are all available to hire. Beach huts are also available.
On the water
Take the whole family out on a cruise round the bay on the Dorset Belle departing regularly from Bournemouth Pier throughout the Summer.
If your feeling more energetic then why not ride the Shockwave speedboat for pure exhilaration?

If you got your surf board handy then ride the waves at Bournemouth or Boscombe Pier. Europes first artificial surf reef just off of Boscombe Pier is currently under construction and its anticipated completion date is September 2009.
On the promenade
Bournemouth Pier amusement arcade offers lots of fun for everyone! From childrens rides to an over 18's area there is something for everyone! Happylands amusements by the west cliff lidt also have a variety of amusement machines, as well as a prize bingo.
A great visitor attraction is the Oceanarium by Bournemouth Pier, here you can experience the natural world of the ocean and see many different sea creatures.
In the evening
In the evening sit back, relax, and watch the sun set whilst enjoying a drink in one of the many bars or restaurants along the promenade.
Througout the year the Pier Theatre present many shows which provide great entertainment, catering for all tastes.
