Complaints About Foreign Bodies in Food

On occasions foreign bodies can physically contaminate food.  Foreign bodies may be considered as those which: -

  • Are present in raw materials
  • Originate from a premises, installations or equipment
  • Originate from food handlers
  • Originate from packaging
  • Originate from pests or unsatisfactory pest control
  • Originate from post process contamination
