Energy efficiency grants

Insulating your home can keep you warmer and save you money on your fuel bills. You could get a grant towards loft and cavity wall insulation from the Government or your energy supplier. If you receive certain benefits or are over 60 years of age you could have the work done for free! Don't delay - find out today. Contact Dorset Energy Advice Centre on free phone:

0800 9750166

A number of grants and discounts for insulation and heating improvements are available to Bournemouth homeowners, landlords and tenants. These are funded by the Council, Government and energy companies. The Dorset Energy Advice Centre will be able to tell you which you are eligible for.

The Council can also top up the nationally available Warm Front grants in cases where the cost of energy efficiency work is greater than the maximum allowed under the Warm Front scheme. In these cases an Energy Efficiency Grant is given towards the cost of eligible work not funded by Warm Front.
