| Mandatory Conditions (Sections 19,20,21 LA2003) 1.1 There shall be no sale or supply of alcohol when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of this premises licence or at a time when the said premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or when his/her licence is suspended. 1.2 Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence. 1.3 Admission of children (under the age of 18) to any exhibition of films must be restricted in accordance with the film classification body designated as the authority under Section 4 of the Video Recordings Act 1984. 1.4 Where the film classification is not specified or the relevant licensing authority has notified the premises licence holder under Section 20 (3)(b) of the Licensing Act 2003, the admission of children must be restricted in accordance with any recommendation made by the Licensing Authority. |

| Condition consistant with premises Operating Schedule: General - all four licensing objectives 2.1 Staff shall be properly instructed on all aspects of the licensing objectives and asked to ensure that the licensing objectives are in force at all times. Prevention of Crime & Disorder 2.2 Customers, who, in the opinion of the guest house Designated Premises Supervisor, are thought to be causing a disturbance to other guests, customers or neighbours will be, after a warning, asked to leave the premises. In extreme cases Dorset Police will be informed. 2.3 CCTV cameras shall be installed in the three locations indicated on plan submitted with the application. 2.4 Alcohol shall be served in plastic containers. 2.5 A search policy to prevent drugs and offensive weapons shall be in place on site. Public Safety 2.6 A break glass call point shall be sited adjacent to teh new final exit from the bar/dining area. 2.7 A push pad or push bar shall be provided for the above door. 2.8 A maintained emergency light with exit signage is to be sited above the final exit. 2.9 There shall be consultation with the Fire Authority and a Risk Assessment kept. 2.10 Regular fire alarm testing and serving of fire alarm equipment shall take place annually. 2.11 Overcrowding shall be prevented by restricting entry to the public. 2.12 Regular inspections shall be made to ensure there is no broken glass or spillages. If found they will be cleared up as necessary. 2.13 There shall be qualified First Aiders at all times. Prevention of Public Nuisance 2.14 Residents and their guests shall be made aware of the sensitivity of noise to not only the neighbouring residential properties located near the premises, but also to other guests who might be trying to sleep upstairs in the guest house after 2300hrs. 2.15 Staff shall be employed to keep noisy queues to a minimum. 2.16 Doors shall be closed after 18.00hrs when live or recorded music is being played. 2.17 Speakers shall be pointed towards the front of the property in a westerly direction and not facing south. 2.18 Quieter, less energetic music shall be played 30 minutes before closing. 2.19 Appropriate signage shall be displayed requesting customers to leave quietly. 2.20 A glass screen shall be fitted between the smoking area and neighbour''s boundary to minimise noise. 2.21 No music shall be played outside. 2.22 No drinking shall be permitted outside after 21:00. 2.23 Smoking outside after 21:00 shall be in a controlled manner. 2.24 Live music shall be of a non-amplified nature and if any louder shall be played with the doors shut to the outside. 2.25 Double glazing shall be in place throughout the premises. 2.25 All deliveries and collections must take place between 08:00 and 18:00. 2.26 All complaints shall be recorded, responded to and preventative action taken. 2.27 There shall be liaison with neighbours and if the opening hours are unacceptable to them they shall be changed. 2.28 Times shall be limited when bins are emptied and barrels moved, avoiding late at night or early in the morning. 2.29 Site refuse and recycling stores shall be situated away from residents where possible. 2.30 The outside sheltered smoking area shall be supervised at all times. 2.31 Tables and chairs shall not be removed late at night. not be removed late at night. 2.32 Doors and windows shall be kept closed when music is being played. 2.33 Lights will not be directed towards residential properties. Protection of Children from Harm 2.34 Any person who appears to be under the age of 21 shall be asked to produce photographic ID. The only form of ID that shall be accepted will be Passport, Driving Licence and cards that incorporate the PASS logo. 2.35 No alcohol shall be served to anyone under the age of 18. 2.36 Staff shall be properly instructed on all aspects of this licensing objective to avoid any breach of condition. |
