The Fair Dealer scheme has been devised in conjunction with the motor trade to ensure that you can expect your dealer to adopt the best fair trading practices when you buy a car.  The dealer is audited by trading standards and has signed up to a code of practice that provides the consumer with additional rights.  For further details please contact the trading standards department and ask for your free copy of the consumer guide.
