- Producing a business directory for the conurbation
- Supporting training schemes for local businesses
- Encouraging start-up businesses
- Working with other local business support organisations
- Helping Bournemouth firms to trade abroad
- Commissioning economic research and supplying economic information
- Supporting local regeneration projects
- Working with other local authorities on economic projects.
- Preparing with our partners the Bournemouth, Dorset and Poole Local Economic Assessment
