Bournemouth Borough Council now participate in a one-stop shop window on contract opportunities from a growing number of councils in the South West. Currently, Bath & North East Somerset, Gloucestershire County Council, South Gloucestershire Council & ourselves are participating but we anticipate many more councils in the South West will join in the near future.

This site is known as the Contracts Register & Opportunities Portal (CROP).

Suppliers can, without registering, use the portal to look for information about existing contracts & new opportunities. If you do register, free of charge, you can:

• post a profile of your company, indicating what sorts of opportunity you are interested in
• receive email notifications whenever opportunities matching your profile become available
• register an expression of interest in a published opportunity and request contract documentation to be sent to you.

If you do feel you need to email the Procurement Team. Please ensure you title the email (in the subject box) as Potential Supplier and provide the following with your email: 

• Contact details: Name of your organisation, contact person, postal address details, email address details, website address details, telephone number, and fax number.
• Service/Product range: A full list of the services or products supplied by your organisation. Your promotional brochure can be attached to the e-mail, preferably as a PDF file. Please do not send promotional brochures by surface mail.
• Local authority experience: Please provide evidence of your experience in supplying local government authorities, with the relevant contact person (and details), the service or product that is provided and discounts provided.
• Potential savings/discounts: Please provide a comprehensive list of the potential savings or discounts that will be offered to Bournemouth Borough Council by your company.
