The Weymouth – London Southwest Trains line links Bournemouth with places to the west in Dorset – Weymouth, Dorchester, Wareham, Poole and to the east with Southampton and London. Virgin Cross Country services link towns and Cities to the north.

Walking – takes a good 20-25 minutes from the station, cross to platform 3 and go out through the main entrance. Turn left until reaching the main road. Then turn right go under the pedestrian access under the roundabout – continue straight on, down Holdenhurst Road until you get to a roundabout – The Lansdowne. Take the second road on the right – Old Christchurch Road – by the Slug and Lettuce bar, continue down this road – until you get to another roundabout with a park area on your right. Continue straight on entering the pedestrian area, eventually you will arrive at Bournemouth Square characterised by a circular café and flame torch. Turn right along Bourne Avenue by Borders Bookshop and continue to the mini-roundabout – The Town Hall is the large building in front of you. To get to the Annexe take the path to the right of the Town Hall and continue up the steps and the Annexe is the grey building straight ahead.

Bus – cross to platform 3 and come out of the main entrance, turn sharp right there is a bus stop with a ‘real time information display’ just before you get to a road under a bridge. All buses from this stop serve the town centre and are relatively frequent – fare (80p return £1.30).    Get off at Bournemouth Square and follow walking instructions above.
