Further to the notice of 1 May 2008, please note that the Department for Children, Families and Schools has now completed the consultation on the proposal to extend the objection period.
The Department for Children, Families and Schools has decided, following the consultation, to extend the objection period until 31 July 2008.
Admission arrangements for 2009-2010 for all maintained schools in Bournemouth have now been determined.

Copies of all the policies are also available to read in the One Stop Information Service at Dorset House, 20-22 Christchurch Road, BournemouthBH1 3NL between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday, excluding Bank holidays.

The closing date for all objections to be received by the Schools Adjudicator is Thursday 12 June 2008, however this year the Department for Children, Schools and Families is currently proposing to bring Regulations into force in May 2008 to extend the closing date to Thursday, 21 August 2008.
We will notify parents via a notice on our website if this extended closing date is applied.Please do not send objections to the Local Authority these must be sent direct to the Adjudicator.
