Reading Around - Artists' Book pages
Bournemouth Borough Council Arts Development is participating in the Reading Around project.  When you take out a book from Bournemouth Library during forthcoming weeks you may be lucky enough to find a laser-jet print slipped inside your chosen book.  This will be an original artwork by one of 60 artists participating in the Reading Around project to celebrate National Year of Reading and World Book 2008.

All the artists' pages can be viewed as an online archive and a free download  PDF e-book is available which people can print out and make up into their own book at Reading Around There are also some short movies about reading.

Public value and the arts in England - ACE Report

'Public value and the arts in England' is the name given to the report which details the findings of the arts debate, the Arts Council's first-ever public value inquiry.

Over the last year, hundreds of people from all over England have contributed to the debate in interviews, group discussions and events.  While some contributors were already active participants in the arts, many others rarely or never attended an arts event.

Read about the arts debate and download the full report at:  Arts Debate
