New 'Welcome Pack' launched for University Students

 

Safer Communities have launched a welcome pack for new university students. The pack includes information on recycling and refuse collection, accommodation, noise control and other useful contacts tips. Community Action Pack

 

Safer and Stronger Communities have produced a 'Community Action Pack' for new voluntary groups and charities in Bournemouth. The 'pack' contains information on useful issues such as the roles of a committee, funding for a group, budgeting, training and much more.

Environmental Small Grants Scheme

Funding has been allocated under the Safer Stronger Communities Programme for a Small Grants Scheme which will be available to community groups and will benefit the Bournemouth community. For more information on the Grants Scheme please view the press release. 


 

Boscombe Chine Football Level 1 Coaching
Bournemouth Borough Council’s Neighbourhood Wardens for Boscombe and Springbourne, Dorset Police, NACRO (a crime reduction charity) and local volunteers have partnered up to offer free level 1 football coaching for children in the Boscombe Chine area. The coaching sessions are for children of all ages and take place at Boscombe Chine Gardens every Thursday between 5pm – 7pm. Tea and coffee are available for parents.
