Where and when are the Toy Libraries open?

West Howe Tuesday 10.30 - 12pm and Friday 2.00 - 3.00pm
Winton Tuesday 2.00 - 3pm and 2nd & 4th Wednesday of the month 9.15 - 11.15am

What sort of toys are available?

How can children borrow toys from a Toy Library?

  1. Be under five years old
  2. Join the Library - this is free. 
  3. Join the Toy Library and borrow toys at one of the Toy Library sessions - toys can also be returned and chosen from the Toy Library catalogue at any time the Library is open.

 

How to Join the Library

  1. See Joining the Library. Remember to bring something with the child's parent/carer's name and address on it (eg. utilities bill).
  2. Sign an agreement to help take care of the toys that your child borrows.

How long can the toys be kept?

Toys, like books, are issued for three weeks and can usually be renewed.

 

How many toys can be borrowed?

Three toys can be borrowed - this is in addition to the regular children's card allowance of 12 books.
