LITERARY EVENTS
Search the British Council's database for UK Literary Festivals. Bournemouth Literary Festival Established in 2004, the festival is an international and multicultural festival of fiction and poetry, in English and other languages, with music, dance and drama. The 2006 festival ran from 10th - 20th October. LOCAL LITERATURE Dorset Literature Network The DLN provides an infrastructure of support for writers, storytellers, and professional and volunteer live literature promoters for the inspiration, motivation and coordination of literature in Dorset. It offers networking and training opportunities, and members work together on projects such as Blah di Blah; Dorset's festival of words and voices. Anyone interested in promoting live literature is welcome to join.
