PAY A COUNCIL BILL/INVOICE/ACCOUNT
Ways you can pay a Bournemouth Borough Council bill, invoice or account.

(Information if you have received a Penalty Parking Notice.) 

 

Direct Debit - To view details of bills, invoices or accounts you can pay by Direct Debit.

 

Automated Telephone (24/7) - (Debit/Credit cards) Please telephone 01202 454748. An administration charge is made for credit card payments. 

 

Online (Internet) – You can pay by debit/credit card using the Internet. 

 

Telebanking/Internet Banking – To make a payment using any of the telephone, TV, PC or similar banking services, which banks and building societies offer.

 

Bank Giro Credit – You can pay at any bank using payment slips provided with your account/invoice/bill. You may have to pay a fee (Local HSBC branches will not charge).

 

Post Office Giro Credit – Fill in a Post Office (TRANSCASH) transfer form and give your reference number and our account number. A fee will be payable.

 

Post – Please make your cheques payable to ‘Bournemouth Borough Council’, write your bill/invoice/ account number on the back and enclose a payment slip.

Please note: Payments made at a bank, post office, by telebanking or the internet may take up to 5 working days to reach us.

 

 

If you want a receipt, please tell us and send the whole bill with your payment.

 

PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH.

 

We will NOT accept third party cheques or cheques with a future date on them.
