Research & Information

The role of the Research and Information team is to provide for the needs of Planning and Transport and, where possible, the remainder of the authority. The team undertakes economic and demographic research and holds information on themes such as population, employment and housing. 

The team are involved in joint projects with both Dorset and Poole; this includes reports on housing and employment land and the economy.

The Research and Information pages are arranged into datasets and themes.  Datasets includes Census data and the Annual Business Inquiry while themes covers topics such as crime and safety, labour market and population and migration.  To navigate around the Research and Information pages please use the menu links on the left hand side.
