Citizenship Ceremonies

All persons obtaining British Citizenship are required to attend a ceremony to swear their Oath of Allegiance in the presence of the Superintendent Register.

 

Citizenship Ceremonies are held monthly in the Council Chamber at the Town Hall, Bournemouth. The ceremonies are to welcome new citizens and are attended by the Mayor of Bournemouth.

 

Please also note the following:

Dress code: Smart/Casual – NO Jeans.

Maximum of 4 guests allowed.

Photographs can be purchased on the day (cost is £5.00 each) after signing the register and receiving the certificate.

If you wish to video the ceremony, only a hand held, battery operated camera can be used.
