You are here: >  Living / Births, deaths, marriages / Re-Registration Of A Child's Birth

re-registration of a child's birth

There are two scenarios where a child's birth can be re-registered:

1) A birth may be re-registered to include the details of the natural father, where the child’s mother was not married to the father at the time of the birth, and have not subsequently married each other since the birth.

2) A birth may be re-registered, when at the time of the birth the parents were not married to each other but have now subsequently married.
