Redhill Common Conservation Volunteers

Redhill conservation volunteers group are always on the look out for new members and hold regular monthly meetings.  Volunteers assist in Gorse Coppicing as part of a management programme to restore parts of the Common back to heathland. All equipment and training is provided with the assistance of the Community Parks & Countryside Team.

During the summer, activities include biological surveys, monitoring, recording wildlife, assisting with guided walks and educational activities.
