The Council's Contract Procedures were adopted as Council Policy with effect from April 2002 and updated in 2008.  These procedures govern the way in which we enter into contracts with outside organisations.

All contract opportunities across the Council are advertised on this website. In addition, where appropriate, we advertise contract opportunities in the local press and also relevant trade or professional journals.

At regular intervals, we place notices in the press that the Council's website will carry details of all contract opportunities.

Please check this page of our website regularly if you wish to tender for work with us.

Additionally, the Council's Contracts Register provides an indication of which contracts (worth over £30,000 per year) the Council currently has, and when they are likely to be re-tendered.  Contracts on the Contract Register will be advertised as described above.
