You could get a grant towards loft insulation, cavity wall insulation or heating system improvements from the Government, Council or your energy supplier.

Homeowners and private tenants

If you receive one or more of the benefits listed below, or are aged 60 years or older, you could have the work done for free! Don't delay - find out today.

You may qualify if you receive any of the following:

• Housing Benefit
• Council Tax Benefit 
• Income Support
• Income-based Jobseekers Allowance 
• Working Tax Credit (with an annual household income not exceeding £15,050)
• Child Tax Credit (with an annual household income not exceeding £15,050)
• Guarantee Pension Credit
• Attendance Allowance
• Disability Living Allowance
• Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit
• War Disablement Pension

or if you are aged 60 or over and occupy a property in Council Tax bands A, B, C or D.

Landlords 

If you are a landlord with properties in Bournemouth and your tenants include people on qualifying benefits or aged 60 and over, you may be eligible for free or reduced price insulation. Over 6,000 units of accommodation have been insulated to date. Find out more:
