A Vision for Bournemouth

We’re proud to unveil Bournemouth’s Town Centre Master Vision.

Westover Road and Pier Approach are among the areas earmarked for major improvements. Possible changes include making the town more pedestrian-friendly, providing a botanic garden, a children’s playground, a treetop walkway and improving the flyover at Pier Approach.

This is our opportunity to create a better Bournemouth for future generations. More than 6,000 consultation documents about the Vision were distributed and numerous events have been held for local organisations and residents’ groups. The responses have gone to an independent consultation expert and we have a summary of the findings below.
