What Is Business Continuity

We plan for a wide variety of potential incidents, disruptions and emergencies that could affect the services we provide you

We assess the risks to residents and work closely with colleagues and partner agencies. We provide the plans, procedures and information required for a co-ordinated response.

This can help reduce the effects of any disruptive challenges occurring in Bournemouth, Christchurch or Poole. It allows our services to continue as normally as possible.

What the Risks are

These are emergencies that could happen in our area

It is important to be prepared for emergencies that may affect you, your family, friends and neighbours. For example, you could

  • write your own emergency plan
  • prepare an emergency grab bag
  • agree an emergency meeting location for family
  • make special arrangements for vulnerable people.
