Disabled Access to our Buildings
We’ve got a legal duty to take all reasonable steps to make our buildings accessible
If you have difficulty entering or getting around in one of our buildings please let us know and we’ll do our best to improve access where we can.
If we’re unable to make a change and you can’t get to a service you need, we’ll provide it in a different way so you can still use it. This might mean we’ll visit you at your home.
What’s available in our public buildings
All our buildings have automatic doors and ramps or are level access. See below to find out what else is available at each location.
Tourist Information Centre
Our Westover Road centre is now closed. The new centre is based at Pier Approach and is fully accessible.
Libraries
All our libraries have a great selection of large print and audio books, there's also the Home Library Service which delivers items to people who can't come and visit.
Our public PCs all have accessibility software, keyboards and mice, find your local library.
