Keeping a Pet
We’re happy for our tenants to keep pets, but you must ask us first
Coronavirus (COVID-19): change to service
On advice from the government regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19), we have changed the way we are delivering some of our services.
Our focus remains on providing:
- emergency repairs
- supporting the elderly and vulnerable
- urgent housing management advice
- help and advice on paying your rent
See further information about changes to other services.
We need to make sure you’re able to keep your chosen pets responsibly, without causing any problems for other residents.
Sometimes, before we give permission, we will ask you to get suitable home insurance to cover the cost of any damage the pet may cause.
There are some further limits to keeping pets if you are in senior living accommodation.
If you cannot look after your pet in a way that meets the terms of your tenancy agreement, we may decide you can no longer keep it at the property.
You must take full responsibility for any pets you have, we accept no liability for pets living in our properties.
If you want to get a pet, please fill out and return a pet application form.
