Boscombe Chine Gardens

What you can find at Boscombe chine gardens Green Flag site and how to get there

These gardens offer a lovely mix of scenery and activities with formal flower beds, large grassy areas for recreation, mini golf and a water-themed playground.

A variety of trees grow on the banks of the chine and the gardens provide habitats for a range of wildlife.  There is a wildlife quiz trail along the pathway all about the plants and animals found in the gardens.

Squirrel Cafe and mini golf is owned and operated by BCP Council. Having a cuppa here, or a game of golf (or both!) supports your local parks and open spaces. We have recently opened our upstairs cafe, here you can purchase hot and cold drinks, freshly baked cakes and daily specials. We are now closed for the season. We are usually open everyday from 10am - 5pm - this may vary with the mini golf, depending on the weather!

Please email us for current opening times.

Mini Golf

Squirrel Cafe and mini golf is an 18 hole mini golf course, set in these picturesque surroundings.

Well-behaved dogs on a lead are allowed in our mini golf.

Please email us for current opening times.

How to find it

You can enter the chine gardens from the Christchurch Road heading towards Boscombe coming from Bournemouth central.  Or from the beach, the entrance is opposite Boscombe Pier.  You can see where it is on our map.
