How to Pay Your Business Rates
You can pay your business rates in a number of different ways
You can pay online, by direct debit, on the phone, at the bank or by cheque.
By Direct Debit
To set up a Direct Debit, either call 01202 454833 or download a direct debit form and return it to us (the return address is listed at the top of the form).
You can choose to pay yearly or half-yearly, in 10 or 12 monthly instalments.
You can pay online with a debit card.
You can pay with you debit card by using Santander BillPay. Not used it before? There’s lots of information on how to use BillPay on their website.
You just need to select 'Bournemouth B.C.' on the BillPay website, then 'Bournemouth B.C. (NNDR)'. You need your reference ready.
On the phone
You can make a payment by calling our 24 hour payment line on 0330 088 7966. Simply listen to the options and pick the one that you wish to pay for. You can make a payment using a debit card.
Just make sure you have your reference ready.
Transfer funds online or by phone
If you use online banking, you can pay by transferring funds. You’ll need:
- Our sort code 40 13 07
- Our account number 21006622
- Your Business rates reference number
By Post or Visit Us
We can't accept cash payments at the Town Hall or via post. To pay by cheque, you will need:
- The payment slip, which is included with your bill.
- A cheque made payable to Bournemouth Borough Council, with your Business rates reference written on the back.
