Through CRISP (Carers Resource, Information and Support Programme), the Carers Support Service offers a range of help & support for carers:

Take a Break from Caring

Taking a break from your caring responsibilities is vital. It's important not to overlook your own needs.

Assessing Your Needs as a Carer

Find out about services and support that could help you in your caring role. This is not a judgement on how well you provide care.

Carer's Allowance

If you care for someone for 35 hours or more a week, you could be entitled to Carer's Allowance

Carers' Events & Training

There are a range of support groups and contacts for carers in Bournemouth. This includes general and more specific support.

Carers in Crisis: Emergency Back Up Scheme

Carers in Crisis is a back-up scheme helping the person you care for in an emergency, when you are suddenly unable to provide your usual support.
