How to make your own arrangements for care.
If you make the decision to find a home care provider yourself, you need to make sure that they offer a high standard of service with trained staff which is suitable for your needs. Our Service User Promise provides more information on the minimum standards you can expect from your home care service.
Before choosing your care you should:-
- Check the provider is registered
You should choose a provider who is registered and inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). They check services meet government standards for care, and publish reports on their findings.
You can see which providers and employees have promised to provide high quality services to people who need care and support.
