Live streaming at Bournemouth Crematorium is not possible at the moment, due to a technical issue with our supplier, which is completely beyond our control.
You can book a web casting via your funeral director, which can be recorded and provided as a USB or DVD, but currently, we’re sorry to say we cannot broadcast live.
As our lives get busier and friends and families spread out across the globe, it can prove difficult to come together to mourn the loss of a loved one. It is unfortunate that friends and relatives can sometime miss a ceremony for reasons like a hospital stay or long-term health issues.
You can now ask your funeral director to have the funeral service streamed live online (a webcast), from either the East or the West chapel.
There is a small, unobtrusive camera in each chapel, focused on the minister or celebrant giving the service. The chapel has microphones around the room to reflect the full ambience during the service.
For a lasting memorial, the service can be recorded: either just the sound (on a CD) or audio-visual (DVD). You need to tell your funeral director in advance of the service so they can arrange this for you.
