Protecting Children

All schools take children's welfare seriously. They employ safeguarding specialists, who you can talk to.

Emergency Protection Order

The Courts issue an Emergency Protection Order when a child is in danger and needs to be taken from home.

Child Sexual Exploitation

Child Sexual Exploitation is a form of abuse. A child (under 18) is persuaded into having sex, or doing sexual acts in return for something.

Volunteer To Protect Local Children And Young People From Sexual Exploitation

Looked After Children

Children become 'looked after' when the courts issue a care order or when their parents decide to put their children into care.

Parenting Assessment and Contact Team (PACT)

The Parenting Assessment and Contact Team gives support to families and helps them to give the care that their children need.
