If you’re looking for activities for older children and teenagers there are lots of youth centres in Bournemouth:

The Chatterboxes are a youth action project, run by young people with disabilities, aged between 11-25 years old.  They currently run 3 youth groups a week. Their main aim is to raise awareness of disabilities and create a community with is equal for all whilst being surrounded by friendship and laughter. Please see the Chatterboxes website for information and details.

Bournemouth also has B-Town Youth - their events and activities for SEND young people for between 13 to 25 year olds are detailed within the B-Town website

We’re also lucky to have some great play grounds and activity parks in Bournemouth, some of these have special equipment for disabled children. Find out where they are, who they’re for and what’s there.

Bournemouth libraries run activities and groups for people of all ages, find out if there’s something going on that you’d like to join in with at your local library.
