It can sometimes be difficult to find things to do with your young person.
We have detailed some options available to you below and hope that you enjoy what is on offer. You will find more options within the SEND directory

Our local Odeon Cinema BH2 has special sensory friendly and inclusive showings for all, normally on a Sunday morning.
Wessex Warriors Powerchair Football Club - Wheelchair Football (from 5 year olds up to adult) currently on a Friday night activity with matches held on weekend dates.
The Chatterboxes are a youth action project, run by young people with disabilities, aged between 11-25 years old. They currently run 3 youth groups a week. Their main aim is to raise awareness of disabilities and create a community with is equal for all whilst being surrounded by friendship and laughter. Bournemouth also has B-Town Youth - their events and activities for SEND young people for between 13 to 25 year olds are detailed within the B-Town website.
We’re also lucky to have some great play grounds and activity parks locally, some of these have special equipment for disabled children. Find out where they are, who they’re for and what’s there.
Libraries run activities and groups for people of all ages, find out if there’s something going on that you’d like to join in with at your local library.
