Who we can help

Transport assistance can only be provided to those who meet the criteria set out in our Home to School Transport Policy. Our transport to school guidance notes contain a lot of useful information about the process of applying and the criteria set out in our policy.

Our information sheet for pupils who are due to start secondary school in September 2020 may be useful for parents thinking of applying for home to school transport.

You can apply online using the green "Apply" button at the top of this webpage or complete our travel assistance form if you meet the criteria.

If your child has an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) you can find more information about what may be available and how to apply on BCP Council's Local Offer

This service is for children under 16 only. If your child is aged 16 or over you can find out about the type of transport support available in our Post 16 Travel Statement
