SENDIASS

Information and advice about special educational needs and disabilities for people who live locally

We used to be known as The Parent Partnership. SENDIASS stands for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Information, Advice and Support Service.

This is a free, confidential and impartial service for children and young people with SEND who live across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole and their parents or carers.

We can give help, support and information if:

  • You are a child or young person (0 - 25) with special educational needs or a disability (SEND)
  • A parent or carer of a child or young person (0 - 25) with a special educational need or disability (SEND)
  • You are the parent or carer of a child of school age who has been excluded from school or is at risk of exclusion
  • You are going through the Education, Health and Care planning process or the Annual Review process

Our open times vary during school holidays - please listen to our voicemail message for opening times.    

As we are a small service we may be away from our desks helping other people when you call so please leave a voicemail message (24 hours) or email.

We support children and young people age 0 - 25 with special educational needs and disabilities and their parents or carers. Please see our website link for leaflets and other information.
