Childcare Works Session
Following a successful bid, Childcare Works are coming to Dorset on the evening of Tuesday 18 June to run a fully funded Childcare Matters session for childcare practitioners. Places will be limited, so please save the date and see the next fortnightly email for details of how to book.
Ofsted Big Conversation
This is a forum that is for all those interested in the fairness and quality of Ofsted inspections and also in the EYFS and Funding. It provides an opportunity to share your experiences, voice your frustrations, for networking, CPD, and engagement first hand with Ofsted, Local Authorities and the DfE. Book now to attend at the Early Years Centre for Professional Development on Wednesday 17 July from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
Do your parents want to save money on their childcare? We are promoting tax free childcare in the Primary Times magazine coming out for the May half term.
Foundation Stage Transition Event
These events are bookable on CPD Online and further details will be included on fortnightly emails and on the Transfer Record webpage over the next few months. For those of you who may not have attended before, this event is an opportunity for providers to meet with receiving schools to discuss individual children and hand over the transfer record forms. Rummage Sale at Early Years Centre for Professional Development
We are holding a rummage sale of quality used early years resources that require new homes. Donations The Children in Need charity will be requested for all items and the amount raised will be published.
The sale for early years settings and childminders will be held at EYCPD, East Way, BH8 9PU on Friday 31 May 10.00am to 12.00pm. Parking is available so please bring transport to remove your chosen items straight away.
