Vacancy Collection

Please can all early years childcare providers complete our quick vacancy data survey to record your termly occupancy for the council’s Childcare Sufficiency duty.

We simply need to know how many children in total you could have had on the morning of Thursday 27 February and how many you actually cared for. Also, your current vacancies for funded two-year-olds, looking for a 15 hours place.

The survey will open on 26 February and close on Sunday 8 March. As with autumn, we will share the outcome. Thank you in advance for your co-operation. If you have any queries regarding this, please email or call Clare Vials on: 01202 456353.

There has been an increase in the cases of mumps in the South West. Mumps is a contagious viral infection most recognisable by the painful swellings at the side of the face under the ears. Please promote how important it is for all children to of had the two doses of the MMR vaccine to protect them.

Coronavirus

Your Mind, Your Say

NHS Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group (Dorset CCG) want your views on mental health services for children and young people. The Your Mind, Your Say survey is for anyone who has a view on children and young people’s mental health services including children, young people and their families/carers. Young people under 16 will need parental consent to complete it. The more views shared the better the outcome will be in helping to improve children and young people’s mental health services across Dorset.
