We are pleased to announce that the Sharepoint site has now been replaced with the Early Help Partnership website. Take some time to familiarise yourself with the new site and share it with your colleagues too.
LSCB Training Change of Booking System
Here is the information for the one single booking system starting April 2018. There is also a manual with details of how to apply and a registration form to apply for your site.
Healthy Eating Guidance for the Early Years Sector
New example of menus and recipes have been published to help early years providers plan healthy, tasty meals for young children.
The guidance has been jointly developed by the Department for Education, the Department of Health and Public Health England, with advice from a panel of early years and nutrition experts including the British Nutrition Foundation.
Eat Better, Start Better Campaign
Eat Better, Start Better guidance and supporting material has been developed to help early year’s providers and practitioners to meet the Early Years Foundation Stage welfare requirement for the provision of healthy, balanced and nutritious food and drink.
Consultation on the eligibility for free school meals and the early year’s pupil premium under Universal Credit.
This consultation invites views on the Government’s proposed approach to the following passported benefits under Universal Credit:
• free school meals eligibility for pupils in primary and secondary education and students in further education; and
• the early year’s pupil premium.
The consultation document and the website for responses are now accessible.
The consultation ends 11 January 2018.
