"Thanks for last night's session Nigel. Very helpful. I cannot tell you how many hours I've spent changing tubes badly and not knowing where to look for the offending thorn/nail etc! Mike"
"The course was a great beginner's guide, covering essential topics. I'd recommend it to anyone getting into cycling who wants to keep their bike in top form. Nigel was a great teacher - polite, patient, and clearly very passionate about bikes! Jon"
"Hi Nigel, many thanks for last night both Karen and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Your vast experience, enthusiasm and tips were greatly appreciated and has given me a bit of confidence to give it a go. Best wishes, Dave and Karen"
"Nigel, Thanks again for a really informative and enjoyable evening this evening. Excellently pitched and hugely useful. I’m sure I will forget half of it before I put it into use! Yours, Patrick"
"I just wanted to pass on some feedback about Nigel who conducts the bike maintenance/bikeability courses. He was an absolute pleasure to learn from and made the Tuesday evening course really come to life. He is clearly passionate about bikes and really cares that people have got them set up correctly and get the most from them. As well as attending the course I had purchased a bike from Bicycle World and they are now closed down so I approached Nigel to look at my bike quickly on Saturday but he ended up spending 3 hours of his personal time helping sort out my mess of a bike. What a legend!"
"I really enjoyed the bike maintenance course. Nigel was excellent; he is very knowledgeable and friendly. He gave us lots of good tips and has given me more confidence to have a go at fixing my bike, even my gears! Thank you."
"Just a note following the course Daniel and I attended last night. It was a really useful session, a good mix of talk and hands-on. Nigel is a great instructor, very enthusiastic and knowledgeable and he was happy to answer additional questions. He showed us how to inspect our bike frame and take off the wheels, how to change an inner tube, the M-check, cleaning the chain and adjusting brakes and gears. Nigel explained everything very well and he took the time to make sure we understood what he was showing us, what tools we might need and what to do with them."
"Just wanted to email to thank you for providing a great learning course. I feel so much more confident."
"Please can you pass on my thanks to Nigel. The course he ran was superb. Nigel is obviously a credit to the council, he was totally professional, friendly and passionate about his subject. Thanks to all in arranging this course."
"The session last night was excellent. Nigel taught us so much. I can't believe how much I learnt in 2 hours. Thank you. I was the only female so you could say that's it's suitable for everyone."
"I just wanted to say thank you. Last night's bike maintenance course was exactly what I needed and I know have a bit more confidence about sorting out any small problems I might have. Nigel Winter is an excellent instructor. Very patient and he doesn't make you feel a bit daft asking what might seem to be a bonkers questions. He was terrific. I had a puncture and thanks to Nigel I was able to replace the inner tube (I have a spare) during a 40 mile ride. It was a thin sliver of slate."
"Just to say we both thoroughly enjoyed the course last Tuesday. Please pass on our thanks to Nigel, who was extremely knowledgeable, patient and very good at explaining everything he showed us. Would definitely recommend this course to anyone who wants a basic understanding of bike maintenance."
