Dorset Access Forum

The Dorset Local Access Forum provides advice for improving open spaces for all.

The Dorset Local Access Forum is a statutory body that provides local, regional and national organisations including Dorset County, Bournemouth and Poole Borough Councils, Natural England and DEFRA with independent advice for improving outdoor access/green space for people to enjoy by foot, horse, bike and car.

The Forum’s work concerns a wide range of issues, for example, play and outdoor recreation, sustainable transport, health, tourism, disability, equality & diversity, local economy, planning & development and land-management (agriculture/forestry/environmental conservation).

Additional information about the Forum can be found on the DLAF website. Alternatively, please do not hesitate to contact Tara Hansford, the Forum Coordinator on 01305 221779, if you have any queries or wish to discuss the work of the Forum in more detail.
