Dorset Local Transport Board

Delivering improvements to transport in Bournemouth and beyond

The Dorset Local Transport Board (DLTB) has been established to prioritise and oversee the delivery of Local Major Transport Schemes.  These are scheduled to be completed during the period 2015-2019 for the DLEP geography (the combined authority areas of Bournemouth Borough Council, Borough of Poole and Dorset County Council).

The DLTB have agreed a provisional programme of schemes which will be developed for final funding approval in advance of April 2015 when the capital funding becomes available. The Department for Transport (DfT) confirmed a funding allocation of £12.2 million for the 2015-19 delivery period.
